Apple seeks another $180 Million in damages from Samsung in ongoing patent dispute
Apple the makers of iPhone has filed documents in a US court promising another $180m (GBP120 million; EUR164m) from Samsung as element of its own ongoing patent dispute together with the Korean firm.

Apple is claiming the added settlement in lieu of “supplementary damages and interest”. They additionally claim that it was owed the added sum by Samsung since it’s identified the selling of five more Samsung cellphones that supposedly break the patents of Apple.
The dispute dates back to 2011 when Apple filed a suit against Samsung, maintaining the American firm’s patents were broken by the South Korean firm by duplicating the appearance of the iPhone.
On 14 December, Samsung consented to pay $548 million to Apple but later filed an appeal in the US Supreme Court requesting it to review the patent policies in the country's. In the event the court agrees to hear the appeal, it might result in maybe a restructuring of patent laws and a retrial.
In 2014, Samsung and Apple agreed to drop all litigation outside the US.
