Heavy rain lashed chennai

Due to the deep depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal, adjoining North Sri Lanka, Chennai has been experiencing widespread rain since last night. As a result, heavy rain lashed Nungambakkam, Teynampet, Valluvar Kottam, Saidapet, Nandanam and other areas in Chennai this morning.
