The most awe-inspiring pictures of southern India from space

It is the ultimate 'room with a view' and astronauts on-board the International Space Station get to enjoy it everyday as they orbit planet earth.

Scott Joseph Kelly, an astronaut at the ISS and one of the most prominent space explorers of recent times, tweeted some stunning images of the Indian Peninsula. 

Kelly tweeted three breathtaking photos saying, "Sandy and green on the South #Indian coast. #YearInSpace" "A rare glimpse of beautiful South #India! #GoodMorning from @Space_Station #YearInSpace" "The Southern tip of #India and its blue waters. #YearInSpace"

This is definitely unlike any other photo of the Indian subcontinent, we have come across in the recent past.
