Hollywood Superstar Hugh Jackman, best known for playing Wolverine in the X-Men series, proved that he’s not just a hero on screen, but also off it. The actor recently saved his children and another man from a dangerous tide at Sydney’s Bondi Beach in Australia on Saturday, March 26.

The clip of the handsome hunk hopping into the water and heroically rescuing his family is going viral. In it, Jackman, 47, can be seen moving toward one man as he holds onto a girl (later revealed to be Jackman’s daughter Ava, 10), pulling them away from the dangerous waves.
The actor later motions for his teenage son Oscar, 15, to move closer to shore and out of harm’s way.
A lifeguard can be seen blowing her whistle to signal the disturbance.
A spokesperson of the 47-year-old actor later said in a statement, “Hugh and Oscar are completely fine. It looks more dramatic than it was.” We’re glad they made it out okay.
