Tamil app Ore Naadu to promote BJP in TN
Enthused by the success in Karnataka, the BJP will now focus on other south Indian states, including Tamil Nadu, BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao told reporters here on Monday.
Chennai
Muralidhar, who is on a visit to Chennai as part of the party expansion work and digitisation of party magazine Ore Naadu (One Nation) said that the next political chapter for the saffron party is to strengthen BJP across south India. “The people of Karnataka have voted for the BJP showing that the BJP is gaining hold in South India. The opposition Congress had faced a rout in the Karnatakabypolls and the public had chosen the BJP with a clear mandate,” he said.
The political instability in Karnataka was caused by Congress leader Siddharamiah and it is high time that the Congress leader retires from active politics. Karnataka will now have a stable government for the next three and a half years, the BJP leader said.
Muralidhar Rao launched a Tamil app titled Ore Naadu (One Nation) to promote the saffron ideology among youngsters and party men in Tamil Nadu.
“The BJP leader launched the app, which will have similar contents like Namo App. The mobile app will be the digital version of the party fortnight magazine Ore Naadu. The app has been designed to meet the modern age followers and will also give daily political updates,” said a BJP functionary Nambi Narayanan, who is also the editor of Ore Naadu.
Besides giving news updates, the app will also help the BJP followers to track the party activities and the messages shared by the BJP leaders, Narayanan added. “Like AIADMK and DMK, BJP is now building a broad IT and digital platforms to woo voters. The party had also planned a mega training programme for party IT wing members and will increase the digital presence ahead of the next year Assembly polls,” said another BJP functionary.
