No rationale behind DMK accusations in the Kandha Shashti Kavasam controversy: KN Nehru

Senior DMK leader KN Nehru rubbished at all attempts to connect DMK with a controversial video on a Youtube channel that identifies itself with Periyarist thinking.

He made public a note, stating that DMK goes by Anna's popular slogan 'Ondre Kulam Oruvane Devan' (All the people are one community, there is only one God).

Nehru emphatically complained of people having vested interests spreading canards about DMK. Quoting late M Karunanidhi, he said that DMK 's rationality propaganda would never stand in the way of religious preaching.

'DMK's ideology is no secret, but we don't intend to hurt anybody's sentiments nor will stand against any faith', said Nehru, he warned party cadres not to indulge in quarrel with those spreading baseless allegations against the party.
