Zoho launches Checkout, strengthens finance suite to help firms go digital

Cloud-based business operating system Zoho recently unveiled Zoho Checkout, a new-age application that allows businesses and freelancers to create customised and secure checkout pages to collect online payments, without the technical expertise traditionally required.

The app helps Indian MSMEs and freelancers to collect online one-time and recurring payments with ease.

In a time when Indian businesses are going cashless, the app is said to offer flexible payment options (one-time  and recurring), real-time analytics to monitor monthly revenue, and customizable design to suit one’s business needs. Checkout is the latest addition to the Zoho Finance Suite, a comprehensive cloud-based financial application solution. 

Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, Director of Product Management, Zoho, says, “India is at the brink of a digital revolution. Our finance apps are aimed at helping Indian businesses make a smooth transition to the digital payments world. We built Checkout to deliver a payments app that is simple enough for small businesses to use by sending links for payment, but also scalable enough to offer larger companies the ability to simply customize their payments page with consistent branding.” 

Checkout is part of a comprehensive suite of business applications on the Zoho cloud platform, which includes marketing, sales and customer support applications; productivity and collaboration applications; and finance and human resources applications. The company has offered users an option to sign up for a free plan where they can create a checkout page and accept up to 50 payments.
