TiE Chennai, FSS get talking on note ban

Narayanan, President, TiE Chennai, says, “The country needs to rapidly go digital. A physical introduction to the act of transacting digitally is the need of the hour. TiE Chennai created Fintech SIG platform to communicate to the new age entrepreneurs to adopt the recent developments, challenges and new trends in the Financial Technology industry post-demonetisation.” 

The panel was moderated by Mahesh Ramachandran, Common Wealth Inclusive Growth Services at IIT Madras Research Park Chennai. The session was attended by budding entrepreneurs and executives in the financial and IT sector from the city. 

The panel discussion covered various topics such as key infrastructure to enable digital currency/payments, key innovations in the fin tech sector, changing regulations and technology landscape highlighting opportunities for digital adoption in post-demonetisation.
