Hinduja Global forays into GST support services space

The listed entity, based in Bengaluru, is currently supporting its first client for the service, a major telecom operator in India, from Noida. It will shortly be starting services from Mumbai and Chennai.

HGS’ GST compliance services offering covers activities such as legal validation of all transactions (based on classification, valuation, place of supply, point of supply, applicability of exemption, reverse charge and GST credits), reconciliation between the books and return; and reconciliation for mismatches with creditors and customers, etc. 

Aiming to be a one-stop tax and technology solutions partner, HGS is actively working to increase the scope of F & A services including Tax Shared Services. For its new biz, HGS has signed a pact with D Arvind (D Arvind and Associates LLP,) an ex-KPMG Tax Partner, for collaborating on legal validation activities. 

Arvind has also worked with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, for corporate governance programmes.
