MoUs worth Rs 2,651 crore signed at UEF Trade Summit
MoUs worth Rs 2,651 crore were signed in presence of O Panneerselvam, the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at the Second Edition of UEF Trade Summit 2017. He addressed more than 2500 delegates on the second day of the Summit. It was inaugurated on Saturday at the Chennai Trade Centre.

Dignitaries included Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali Azimjah, Prince of Arcot and Essa Abdulla Al Ghurair, Chairman Essa Al Ghurair Investment LLC UAE, attended the inaugural session at the UEF Trade Summit 2017. Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Suresh Prabhu congratulated UEF through a video extending his best wishes.
The previous edition in 2015 saw MoU’s signed for Rs 2,400 crore, thus creating a cumulative value of more than Rs 5,000 crore from both editions of the Summit. With an objective to bring important policy makers and investors together, the Summit is organised by the United Economic Forum (UEF) – a Chamber of Commerce.
