Through this partnership, MAS has become Henkel India’s channel partner for pan India Vehicle Repair & Maintenance (VRM) sales. This alliance will leverage the technology and service expertise of Henkel and the strong market presence of MAS. With support from Henkel India, MAS will add new product lines to its existing customer segment.

As part of the commercial alliance, Henkel will organise intensive training programmes and provide on-field technical support on the latest vehicle repair technologies across 2-wheeler, 4-wheeler and commercial vehicles. Also, it will give MAS access to its extensive aftermarket product portfolio designed to OEM standards of performance and these include body repair, mechanical repair, cleaning and maintenance. MAS will also be able to leverage Henkel’s expertise and state-of-the-art innovation centre at Pune to develop new products for the VRM segment based on market needs.

MAS will ensure distribution of Henkel India’s VRM solutions through its network of over 20,000 retailers, more than 65 branches and through its over 500-member strong sales force. This will enable faster, more reliable and high-quality delivery of VRM service.

Manish Singhal, Business Director – General Industry, Henkel India said, “We are happy to partner with MAS, as it will go a long way in expanding our VRM business in the country and enriching our customers’ experience.”

Sharath Vijayaraghavan – ED, MAS (TVS) said “This partnership with Henkel not only offers us access to best-in-class products, but also training in application; thereby, ensuring our customers get the best service.”

This partnership will first see its inaugural roll-out in September within Tamil Nadu. By the first quarter of 2019 it will be rolled out across the country.
