The Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue in Haryana continued to rise for the fifth month in a row in this fiscal, an official said on Tuesday.
The state GST revenue has recorded a growth rate of 33.5 per cent in November over the corresponding month of the previous fiscal.
A spokesman for the Excise and Taxation Department said the overall growth of the state in the last five months in the state GST was 31.15 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
He said the state has also recorded a high jump in the collections under all the acts of the GST in November. It stood at Rs 5,904.56 crore in November against collection of Rs 4,678.53 crore in November 2018, registering a growth of 26.2 per cent.
The growth rate of 26.2 per cent of the state of GST is against a national growth rate of 5.9 per cent in November, he added.
