Hansika wanted STR to be a part of her film: Director Jameel

Pictures of STR partying with Hansika during special occasions were widely shared on social media. However, to everyone’s surprise, the couple called it quits due to differences and never spoke about it thereafter.

Now, after almost six years, there are reports that the couple is back together for a film titled Maha, which is directed by debutant UR Jameel. The latest update is that STR has shot for two days with ex-girlfriend Hansika and the makers even released a picture from the sets. Hansika and Simbu were seen spending quality time with the film’s director on a yacht in Goa. 

Talking about it to DT Next, director Jameel said, “STR came to the shooting spot a couple of hours early and was helping the entire crew. It was fun to work with him, as he is someone who understands the director’s vision and gives us more than what we expect.” He adds, “Both STR and Hansika are thorough professionals, as they didn’t let their personal life to affect work. 

They were friendly from day one and we all had great fun. In fact, it was Hansika, who wanted me to bring Simbu onboard.” Produced by Mathi Azhagan, Maha is touted to be a thriller.
