Isari Ganesh to contest Nadigar Sangam elections

In one of the biggest turnarounds in the upcoming Nadigar Sangam elections, Isari Ganesh, actor-producer and the Chairman of Vels educational institutions, will contest for the post of General Secretary. This has come as a big surprise to the who’s who of tinseltown because Ganesh has always supported Vishal’s cause so far. Talking to DT Next, Ganesh said, “I am contemplating contesting the elections. Once I decide on this, you can expect me to make a formal announcement today (Friday).”

Meanwhile, another good friend of Vishal, actor Udhaya too will be contesting for the post of General Secretary as he is reportedly not satisfied with Vishal’s performance. However, Vishal Krishna looks unperturbed and told us that he will know who is up against him after the nominations are filed between June 8 and June 10. Apart from Ganesh and Udhaya, rumour has it that STR and his father T Rajendar, Radikaa Sarathkumar are also expected to contest this year’s elections. Actor Saravanan, one of the EC members for Pandavar Ani has requested others not to contest against Vishal as that will hamper the progress of the construction of Nadigar Sangam building that is in its final stages.
