Ajith to play racer in Vinoth’s upcoming film

While there are reports that Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor will make her debut in Tamil with this one, reliable sources have revealed some interesting details about Ajith’s character in the film.

A source close to the film’s unit has confirmed us that Ajith will be seen playing the role of a racer in the film. We also hear that there will be a lot of car chasing sequences in the second half. “Ajith’s passion for racing is a well known and the makers of the film wanted to capitilise on it. The script is a powerful one and will have a lot of mass moments. The female lead of the project is yet to be finalised.” the source says. Touted to be an action thriller, the film will be bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, who has also produced Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai.

Another interesting update is that, actress Reshma Pasupuleti, who recently shot to fame with popular reality show, BiggBoss season 3, has signed the project. The actress has revealed that she was in talks with the makers for a while and they have  finally confirmed. Sources say that her role will be a pivotal one and she has a lot of scope to perform. Reshma was earlier part of films like Bobby Simha’s Ko 2 and Shiva’s Masala Padam.
