Samuthirakani to share screen space with Kamal
Though Kamal Haasan’s much-expected film Indian 2 went on floors earlier this year, the film was put on hold for a while due to the actor’s political committments. However, the team has finally resumed the shoot and Lyca Productions announced that actors like Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vidyut Jammwal and Aishwarya Rajesh will also be part of the project.

Now, we hear that actor-director Samuthirakani has also been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. A source says, “Samuthirakani’s role will be an intense one and his character will appear in flashback portions of the film. He will have a lot of combination scenes with Kamal Haasan.
The actor has already joined the sets of the film in Chennai. An official announcement will be made soon.” Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 film of the same name. The prequel follows the life of a vigilante named Senapathy, who is against corruption.
