In a video statement he said that the banner has to pay Rs 4 lakh for working in the film. It has been over two years since Mersal’s release, and Raman Sharma claims that Thenandal Studios is yet to pay the dues. In the video, the magician said that he is going to file a case against the production house.
Thenandal hasn’t been responding to the magician despite several calls and messages, which has pushed Raman to come all the way down to India to deal with the issue legally. The magician added that there are several other technicians from the film, who haven’t been paid. He also met Vijay and director Atlee on the sets of Bigil last month. However, he said that he didn’t discuss the issue with them as he felt it was unnecessary.
