Rajisha Vijayan to make her debut in K’wood

The latest we hear is that Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan, who garnered rave response for her performance in films like Anuraga Karikkin Vellam and June, has been roped in to play the female lead in Mari Selvaraj’s project.

A source in the know of things says, “Mari Selvaraj had recently approached Rajisha and narrated her the script. Being a performance-oriented role, the actress immediately agreed to sign the film. However, an official announcement will be made only by the end of this month.” We also hear that the project is tentatively titled Karnan and makers are in talks with many veteran actors for some of the pivotal roles in the film. Meanwhile, Dhanush has already begun working on his upcoming project with Karthik Subbaraj, which will be majorly shot in London.
