Vignesh slams critics, supports Kaappaan

Though the makers of the film haven’t come up with any statement regarding the film’s success, director Vignesh Shivan, who has earlier worked with Suriya in Thaana Serntha Koottam, has slammed the online reviewers for their comments on the film.

He posted on his social media page that every Tom, Dick and Harry has turned into a movie critic, without even understanding and appreciating the efforts that’s been put into making a film. He wrote, “Instead of being too critical and analytical, everyone should enjoy films as it’s not wrong to have some flaws. So why can’t a film be imperfect?”(sic).

The director also said that the film is an intriguing action thriller with a lot of twist and turns. He also appreciated Mohanlal and Suriya’s performances and requested everyone to watch it in theatres.
