Is Vijay unhappy with football scenes in Bigil?

Vijay’s Bigil is clearly is one of the most anticipated film of this year and even the songs composed by AR Rahman have been garnering a huge response on social media. As the film gears up for a grand release on October 27, there are speculations that the actor is quite unhappy with a couple of scenes and have asked director Atlee to reshoot it in a short period of time.

An industry insider tells that the actor is not happy with the way a couple of football sequences have been shot. “Vijay has asked Atlee if it can be improved. But since the release date is nearing, the makers are not keen in reshooting the scenes.”


However, when we contacted, a source close to the makers, said, “These are baseless rumours circulating on social media. Vijay is extremely happy with the output and has high hopes on the film. Bigil will be at par with Atlee’s previous films. The release works are going on in full swing.” The actor has spent nearly six months for Bigil in which he is touted to play two roles — that of a father and son. Produced by AGS Entertainments, the film also has Nayanthara, Kathir, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John and Anandraj in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Vijay has already begun working on his 64th film with young director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Actor Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing a negative role in the flick.
