Akshara replaced Shalini Pandey in AS, not Meera Mithun: Naveen

Reports were also that the Shamitabh star replaced actress Meera Mithun, who was recently in the news for all wrong reasons post her Bigg Boss stint.

In fact, Meera Mithun, toosaid that the makers had sent her out of the film for no reasonand had roped in Akshara. She also blamed the producer and director of the film for it.

However, after a couple of days, the director of the film, Naveen, took to social media to reveal that Meera Mithun was actually not a part of Agni Siragugal in the first place. He wrote, “#AksharaHaasan replaces #ShaliniPandey in #AgniSiragugal. Akshara is the female lead. @meera_mitun was never committed in first place. She herself told the press that she is in the movie without my concern. Initially I didn’t wanted to make a fuz. But now.”(sic)

The film also has Jagapathi Babu, Nasser and Prakash Raj in important roles. Agni Siragugal is touted to be a stylish action film with both Vijay Antony and Arun Vijay in interesting roles.
