Vikram and Dhruv’son-stage chemistry was the highlight of Adithya Varma’s audio launch last week. The father-son duo sang the romantic number Yaen Ennai Pirindhai that floored the audience and netizens. It looks like director Vetri Maaran too is impressed by the camaraderie they share in front of the camera and has approached them to play the lead roles in his upcoming film.

A source close to the actor told DT Next, “Vetri Maaran has narrated a script that will feature Vikram and Dhruv in lead roles. It is too early to confirm things pertaining to the project because nothing is concrete. It is a unique content but Vikram is currently shooting for Ajay Gnanamuthu’s directorial and will join the team of Ponniyin Selvan from February. Meanwhile, Dhruv is awaiting the release of his debut film Adithya Varma on November 8. So, it will take some time for things to fall in place.”

Vetri Maaran will also start shooting for his next with Soori. He also has Vada Chennai 2 in the pipeline, which is expected to go on floors in the second half of next year.
