The shoot of Suriya’s much-awaited flick Soorarai Pottru was wrapped up last month and major portions of it were shot in Chandigarh. Directed by Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame, the film is based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath, who founded Air Deccan.
While the post production work of the film is going on in full swing, we hear from reliable sources that Bollywood actor John Abraham has expressed his interest in the film’s Hindi remake.
A source close to the team said that the Bollywood star had the opportunity to see a couple of stunt sequences choreographed by duo Anbariv. He was quite impressed with it and immediately got in touch with the makers of the film.
“Anbariv recently met John Abraham and showed a few scenes to him. The actor was all praise for Suriya and the director of the film. He also expressed an interest in meeting Sudha Kongara to discuss the possibilities of working together for Hindi remake. However, everything is in the initial stage,” the source added. Produced by Suriya in association with Oscar-award winner Guneet Monga, the film has GV Prakash composing music for it. Actors like Aparana Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Karunas, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal are also part of the project.
