The Arbitration Centre of Madras High Court on Wednesday passed an interim stay order on the release of Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero along with other films of KJR Studios, which are in various stages of production. Reports surfaced that Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero which was originally planned for release on December 20, is likely to be delayed. However, S Karthikei Balan, the advocate of KJR Studios in a statement said, “We came across certain reports on social media that Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero has been stayed by the Madras High Court. It is utterly false and baseless. We wish to caution general public that KJR Studios had no contact whatsoever with either 24 AM Productions or TSR Films Private Limited with regard to out movie Hero.” They have also warned severe action against TSR Films for involving their name in the issue. Apart from Hero, KJR Studios are also in talks to produce Sivakarthikeyan’s next with director Nelson and they were supposed to take over the long-pending sci-fi film Indru Netru Naalai director Ramkumar. Apart from Hero, Sivakarthikeyan will also be a part of Vignesh Shivn’s upcoming directorial produced by Lyca.
