Meanwhile, her recent spate of steamy posts have her fans hooked to her social media handle. A few reports said that the actress has been intentionally posting such pictures to turn the attention of filmmakers to her as she has no films on hand. Reacting to these reports, Kiran candidly told DT Next, “Yes, that’s true. I posted those pictures and videos because I haven’t been getting good film offers. I have no idea what went wrong and why I wasn’t being approached. I wanted to let them know that I still look good enough to be cast in films.”

The actress also went on to say that a few people let her down in her career. “Despite having a loyal fan base, my work in Tamil Nadu wasn’t recognised. Media and the film industry had written me off. People who I trusted let me down and I wasn’t getting any substantial content. I lost a few films because I am not a person, who suck up to directors and other actors to cast me in their projects. That’s something which is against my morals. I don’t live in Chennai and I also do not have any other medium to let them know that I still have a long way to go in tinseltown,” Kiran concluded.
