The latest we hear is that Milind Rau will also be directing the Hindi version of the film and Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor has been signed as the lead. A source in the know of things says, “Sonam will be reprising Nayan’s character in the Hindi version of the film. Badla fame Sujoy Ghosh has been roped in as the creative producer of the project. An official announcement will be made in the coming days.”
What’s interesting is that, Netrikann itself is the adaptation of hit Korean film, Blind, which released in 2011. The film is about how a blind girl helps to solve a series of murder cases in the city. Meanwhile, Nayanthara is also waiting for the release of Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss.
