“It is good to share screen space with people who I grew up watching and have inspired me. I learnt quite a few things acting with Ajay Devgn in Raid. Sharing screen space with Rajkummar Rao in Made In China, was another new learning curve,” he told us.
Amit, a graduate of Film and Television Institute of India in Pune said that he wanted to equip himself before entering the film industry.
“I was in theatre for quite a few years before films. Cinema isn’t a medium where you cannot learn after you get into it. Acting has always been my passion and I wanted to learn it to sustain in the Indian cinema industry, which is an ocean. I learnt acting, direction and screenwriting.”
The actor though likes to keep it to acting as of now. “I am in a happy space and focussing onmy acting. After Raid, Bard of Blood (Web Series) and Made in China, I have another film titled Barka Sarkar, which has a unique screenplay. So, I don’t think I will ventureinto direction for now,” he concludes.
