Jyotika’s project with Sasikumar goes on floors

The film was launched in a formal pooja, at Suriya’s Agaram foundation office, in Virugambakkam. To be directed by R Saravanan of Katthukutti fame, the film also has Samuthirakani in an important role. 

A source in the know of things told DTNext, “The story revolves around siblings and their family. The story is set in the backdrop of Thanjavur and neighbouring villages. Sasikumar plays the elder brother and Jyotika his younger sister.” The film also has Kalaiyarasan and Nivedhithaa Sathish in other important roles. Sasikumar is awaiting the release of Kombu Vecha Singam Daa and has completed the shoot of MGR Magan last week. Meanwhile, Jyotika has Thambi with Karthi, which is eyeing a release on December 20 and Pon Magal Vandhaal directed by Fredrick.
