Indian Test cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin recently took to Twitter and took a jibe at Nithyananda’s formation of his own island nation named Kailaasa. The self-styled godman’s announcement tickled Ashwin’s funny bone and he took a leaf from Kamal Haasan’s Vasool Raja. He wrote, “What is the procedure to get visa? Or is it on arrival? #Kailaasa (sic).” Twitterati lauded Ashwin’s sense of humour until actor Sathish responded to the tweet with a picture of him dressed like Nithyananda and wrote, Solgiren Baktha which translates to “I will let you know, my devotee.”
This led to widespread speculation that the actor will be playing in a spoof biopic that is being made on the infamous godman. The actor, however was unavailable for a comment. For those who aren’t aware, Nithyananda recently announced the formation of his own nation on his website. It was claimed in the website that the island, named ‘Kailaasa’, is an exclusive Hindu nation and it even has its own flag, currency and emblem.
