Teddy cannot be restricted to one genre: Shakthi Soundararajan

The poster garnered a lot of attention within a few minutes of its release. Talking about the film Shakthi said, “We had various options as the film’s title but we concluded that Teddy will be the title of the film as it justifies the storyline. The film, similar to a Teddy doll, will attract the audience across age and sections. The film cannot be restricted to one specific genre.” Arya and his wife’s Sayyeshaa will be playing on screen couple for the first time post wedding. “I was initially sceptical to approach Sayyeshaa and ask her if she could play the female lead in the film. Within a week’s time, she allocated her dates for Teddy. Her role has a huge prominence in the script and she has pulled it off well,” added Shakthi. Produced by Gnanavel Raja under his banner Studio Green, the film has D Imman composing the music.
