Prasanna to share screen space with Ajith in Valimai?

According to latest reports, we hear that the Anjathe star has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Ajith’s upcoming film, Valimai, helmed by critically-acclaimed filmmaker H Vinoth.

A source close to the film’s unit tells DT Next, “It’s true that the makers have initiated talks with the actor for an important role in the film. However, he is yet to sign on the official agreement. It’s too early to talk about it.” We also hear that the actor will have many combination scenes with Ajith and his character will have grey shades.

The film went on floors last month in Hyderabad and is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai. Ajith will be seen playing the role of cop in the film. It is also worth mentioning that Boney Kapoor is bankrolling the project following his last outing with Ajith in Nerkonda Paarvai. While Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has been roped in to play the female lead, the makers have planned to release the film for Deepavali this year.
