The first level of a mall’s parking space was brightly lit with stunt choreographer Anl Arasu having a lengthy discussion with his stunt team. The director of Chakra MS Anandan is a busy man as he is spotted explaining the scene to Vishal Krishna. Vishal then greets us and asks Anandan to explain the day’s plans. “We are shooting an important fight scene today. The locations in the final schedule have been shifting from one place to another across the city and we chose this place today. Vishal is all set to take on the villains,” Anandan says and takes us around showing the safety measures provided for the crew. “Fighters will be hanging on the rope as Vishal will lift them, so we ensured that the ropes are attached to strong wooden panels and nobody is injured even if it’s not about falling from a great height.

Meanwhile, Balu sets up the camera angle from the above and Vishal gets ready for the shot. He walks towards Anl and says, “I’m ready. Yaara adikanum ippo (Who should I thrash now?)” Shraddha Srinath joins Vishal and is seen carrying a shopping bag. As Anl Arasu says action, Vishal lifts a fighter above his head and drops him back on the floor. Vishal and Shraddha rush to the monitor and are happy with the shot. Vishal says, “Chakra will be high on action and at the same time, it has a strong content.” Vishal points out at veterans like Anl and Balu and says with a smile, “It’s exciting to work with such a young team. They are all in their 20’s. Jokes apart, we have shot for Chakra for over 50 days. We have 10 more days of shoot left and then it will be wraps.”

Talking about donning the hat of actor and producer, Vishal says, “I’m now used to this routine. In fact, I’m happy to produce my own films.” The actor-producer, who is prone to injury while performing stunts shows us his swollen elbow. “A few days ago, while shooting for another stunt sequence, I had a fall and landed on my elbow. I will have to get this treated soon-- before the shoot of Thupparivaalan 2.” Balu has set his camera up for the next shot. Shraddha tells us, “Now it’s my turn to involve in the brawl.” She rushes towards the villain and kicks him and tackles another running in from behind. The stunt team applauds Shraddha. She tells us, “Though I have performed a small amount of stunts in my previous films, Chakra will unleash my action avatar. I have a few more fight scenes in the film apart from this. My confidence level to perform daredevil stunts has certainly taken an elevation after shooting for this film.”
