Dressed in a black suit, Vijay looked absolutely dapper at the audio launch of his upcoming film Master on Sunday. Usually, Vijay’s speeches at the audio launch events have drawn huge crowds. However, due to the coronavirus scare the audio launch was held behind closed doors at a city hotel. The highlight of Vijay’s speech was when he spoke about his contemporary Ajith and said, “When I was wondering what to wear for the event, my designer asked me to change my style of dressing. I decided that I’ll dress like my ‘nanbar’ (friend) Ajith for a change.” The entire venue erupted with applause even before Vijay could finish the sentence. Simultaneously, netizens, who are fans to both Vijay and Ajith called each other ‘nanbas’ and sent across messages to each other and called for for a brotherhood among them.
In his speech, Vijay also took a jibe at the recent I-T raids conducted at his residence in Panaiyur. When the anchor asked the actor, if there is one thing he would wish from his young age, he replied, “I wish I could get my old life back, which was more peaceful. There were no raids back then,” he laughed. Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto. The film is expected to hit the screens in April.
