Gollapudi Srinivas Award for Uri and Kumbalangi Nights directors

Gollapudi Srinivas Award is a national-level award given to a first-time director in Indian Cinema every year. This is the first time that the award has been jointly won by two directors.

Kumbalangi Nights is a Malayalam family drama film, written by Syam Pushkaran and produced by Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran. The film stars Shane Nigam, Fahadh Faasil, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Anna Ben, and Mathew Thomas.
