By now, fans of celebrities from the entertainment industry are well aware of the routine practised by them during the lockdown days. Some actors are making use of this time to try other social media platforms like YouTube or Tik Tok, apart from the much favoured Facebook or Instagram.
Rakul Preet Singh recently launched her own YouTube channel. The actress pledged to donate the money generated from her channel to PM CARES fund that was started by the government to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Posting a video on Instagram, she wrote, “A lot of time on hand so I thought of launching my YouTube channel which will have all things fun! Let’s spread joy and happiness in whatever way we can.” (sic) In her channel, Rakul shares videos of her fitness regime and culinary skill.
Similarly, Hansika Motwani also started her YouTube channel recently and wrote on Twitter, “Super excited and a little nervous to share with you all that I’ve finally launched my YouTube channel. So get ready to go on a crazy ride with me and get an insight into my life and the real me.” In her first video released on her channel, the actress shared behind-the- scenes footage of the making of her giphys.
Likewise, last week, actress Trisha Krishnan made her debut on Tik Tok. The star was seen dancing to the song, Savage by Megan Thee Stallion. She captioned the video clip as: “I bit the bait”, and can be seen shaking a leg for the music at her home, sporting a purple top with sunglasses on.
