According to sources, it is said that Vijay Sethupathi did not want to act in a negative role of a forest officer due to real-life controversies surrounding them. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa also stars Rashmika Mandanna and has its music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Polish cameraman, Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is the cinematographer for the film. The title and poster of Pushpa were announced on Allu Arjun’s 37th birthday by the crew and the makers had informed that the shooting of the film would begin once the ongoing lockdown is lifted.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is still keeping his fans highly anxious, thanks to the hype around the yet-to-release film Master that has Vijay in the lead. Bobby Simha, on the other hand, has a role in director Shankar’s Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan returning to don the iconic role.
