Prakash Raj to lend voice for Discovery’s Wild Karnataka

After the success of Rajinikanth’s appearance in Into the Wild With Bear Grylls, Discovery channel has now approached Prakash Raj to give the voice-over for a wildlife documentary, Wild Karnataka.

Taking to Twitter, Prakash Raj shared its trailer and captioned the video: “A meaningful journey... to have been a voice of nature ‘Wild Karnataka’, painstakingly made, showcases India’s wildlife in a way that has never been done before. Proud to have narrated it in Tamil and Telugu languages.” (sic) Touted as an initiative aimed at raising awareness about forests of Karnataka, the show depicts its rich environment, animals and was filmed by the crew over a span of four years. 

Telugu star Mahesh Babu offered his support and wrote, “Looking forward to your interesting narrative, Prakash Raj! Way to go!” (sic) Prakash Raj will join Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao who will narrate the documentary in Hindi while Rishab Shetty will lend his voice in Kannada. Celebrated wildlife conservationist and nature historian, Sir David Attenborough will narrate in English.
