Miya George gets engaged, wedding in September

The actress, who made her debut in Tamil cinema in the 2014 film Amara Kaviyam, took to Instagram to share a photo with her fiance and captioned the post, “Thanks for all the Love & prayers” (sic). According to reports, the engagement took place in Kottayam and was attended by close family members, and the wedding is said to be held in September.

Miya started her career by the first appearing in TV shows. She then made her debut in films, appearing in small roles in movies like Doctor Love. In 2012, the actress bagged the female lead role in Chetayees. Miya will soon appear in Vikram’s Cobra, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu which also features Srinidhi Shetty, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, Mrinalini, among others. The actress recently finished wrapping for the Malayalam film Kanmanilla and will portray the role of a cop.
