Educating children is my first duty: Raghava Lawrence

On Saturday, he shared the news on his social media page that two kids to whom he provided educational needs since their childhood have passed class 11 examinations with flying colours. When contacted, Raghava told DT Next, “I have always believed that providing education for today’s generation is one of the best investments for the future of our nation. I couldn’t pursue my education due to health reasons when I was young and I have gone through a lot of taunts because of that. Now that I am in a better position in life, I make it a point to educate children who are in need and I consider it my duty. I am able to do this because people have backed my films. I will continue to do so.”
On the workfront, Raghava Lawrence will shoot for Chandramukhi 2 post lockdown. “I will also shoot for my film that will be produced by Kathiresan. The films are in pre-production stages right now,” he said. There have been rumours that Kiara Advani will play the female lead
