Only I know the struggle I am going through: Yogi Babu
Yogi Babu is one of the most sought-after actors in Tamil cinema now. Having signed over 50 films in the last couple of years, that includes Rajini’s Darbar, Ajith’s Viswasam, and Vijay’s Bigil, the actor has also forayed into the Kannada film industry last month.

This paved the way for rumours saying that Yogi has purchased 400 acres of land on the outskirts of Bengaluru and that he charges a humongous sum of money for the film he is a part of. Talking to DT Next, Yogi Babu denied these claims.
“I was born in Chintadripet and studied in Sriperumbudur. Now, I am in Chetpet. Why would I buy 400 acres of land in Karnataka?” I met Shiv Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar out of goodwill. This doesn’t mean that I have invested in Bengaluru,” he told us. Yogi, who is known for his happy-go-lucky nature revealed that he is upset with such rumours.
“I have been hearing various news about me, which are personal attacks. There are people, who have been saying that this boy has come from nowhere and has made it big. I worked hard for my success. I climbed up the ladder without pulling anybody down. Such baseless stories only upset me,” he opened up. Reacting to the charge of demanding high remuneration, he replied, “Only I know the struggles I am going through. Not many know that I haven’t paid my loans yet. There are few producers, who still haven’t given me my remuneration. I was also impacted by the lockdown and had to call them and request to give me the pending salary.”
