Actor Silambarasan TR, popularly known as STR's Eeswaran film first look motion poster grabbed eyeballs as STR was in a lean and sleek avatar shedding his stout frame.

Now, it gains attention for all the wrong reasons. STR is seen with a snake around his neck resembling Lord Shiva ('Eeswaran' connect).

Allegedly an original cobra has been used according to an animal rights activist, he filed complaints with both the forest department and Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI). He is said to be a former member of performing animals sub-committee.

He is strongly suggestive of a real Cobra used for the shooting and that it was either drugged or defanged.

If the allegations turn out to be true then Eeswaran will be in all sorts of trouble as it is a violation under the Wildlife Protection act.
