With election fever gripping the state, Kamal Haasan has been campaigning vigorously for his party Makkal Needhi Maiyyam. Apart from Bigg Boss, the actor-politician has put all his film plans on hold until the election is over. “Kamal Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram will go on floors only after May. Though he has Indian 2 apart from Vikram, Kamal has given his call sheet immediately for this project which will be bankrolled by his home banner and not Indian 2,” a reliable source told DT Next. Another tinsel town source said that Indian 2 is facing yet another financial hurdle. “There are hearsays that the project has been temporarily put on hold and will not resume anytime in the third quarter of 2021. The project has been stuck in a financial muddle and Lyca Productions has to take a call on it,” the source told us.
