First Vikram, then Kamal for Pa Ranjith

Pa Ranjith continues to be the most-sought after director in Tamil cinema. After the massive success of Sarpatta Parambarai, leading actors and producers from Kollywood have signed him for their upcoming projects. We had broken the news earlier that National award-winning actor Vikram and Pa Ranjith are collaborating for a film soon. The latest is that the film, produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green was officially finalised by signing the papers on Wednesday and will be announced in a few hours. The project will go on floors soon in Chennai. Vikram’s collaboration with Ranjith has already created a huge anticipation in the tinseltown. After considering several names, the makers have almost finalised GV Prakash as the music director of the film. An official announcement will be made soon.

After completing Chiyaan 61, the Madras director has signed a film for Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) which will also feature Kamal Haasan in the lead role. This film will go on floors in the second half of 2022 and will be co-produced by another leading banner in association with RKFI. An official announcement on this project is expected to be made in the summer of 2022.
