After three years in the making Vikram’s Cobra wraps up shoot
Sources close to the movie unit told DT Next, “Vikram sir completed the shoot a few days ago. The rest of the team had 15 days of shoot left, which was completed in Chennai on Tuesday. The movie will now move to the post-production stage. The release date will be announced by the producer officially in a few months’ time.”

The team of Vikram’s much-anticipated film Cobra called it wraps in Chennai on Tuesday. The makers of the film took to social media to announce that the shoot of the film has come to an end after three years.
The director of the film, Ajay Gnanamuthu wrote, “IT’S A WRAP!! Close to 3 years of filming comes to an end!! My sincere thanks to #ChiyaanVikram sir and my entire team who trusted me, sailed through all the struggles and difficult times with me, and believed in the vision of #Cobra!! Forever indebted to each one of u!” (sic).

Vikram paid a surprise visit to the sets on the last day and spent quality time with the cast and crew. Cobra stars Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, while former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan will be seen playing the antagonist. AR Rahman has composed the music.
