What are the responsibilities of being a well-known content creator?

As a responsible content creator, I believe whatever content I am putting out should have quality in it. Keeping in mind the diverse culture, I have to be cautious that I don’t hurt anybody’s sentiments while also being relatable and relevant.

More than the millennials, your content seems to have struck a chord with people of our parent’s generation, who have taken your videos in a lighter vein. How do you look at it? Did you really have any target audience as such?

From the beginning, my target audience has been millennials and GenZ. Eventually, I achieved that with my content because most of the millennials and GenZ coming from a Malayali family background would relate to my content as they also had similar experiences. Also, it is fun to put out humorous instances that happen in every Malayali’s home. And yes, sometimes people send videos of their parents enjoying my content, and I really love watching it.

How did you land Basil Joseph’s Paltu Janwar and share some details on your character?

Syam Pushkaran sir and I were connected on Instagram and he loved my content. One day he asked me about doing this role in the movie and I was pumped because it was such a great opportunity to work with both Syam sir and actor Indrans. The movie revolves around a small panchayat in the hilly regions of Kannur. I played the role of Indrans’s daughter, a ward member in that panchayat. It portrays the beautiful relationship between a father and a daughter.

Tell us the experience of being in front of a bigger camera and catering to a bigger audience

I don’t feel there is much difference between content creation and being an actor. Whether being a content creator or an actor, in the end, you have to act and once the camera starts rolling you just adapt the character.
