Q and A: Throwing light on foot surgeries

What is the objective of the summit?
The objective of the summit is to further enrich the knowledge of practicing foot and ankle surgeons as well as to initiate interest of young orthopaedic surgeons in the same. The event would highlight the recent advances and innovative techniques in the field of foot and ankle treatments. It would provide an opportunity for specialists in foot and ankle treatment to share their knowledge on a single platform.

What are the key components of the summit?
The summit would include panel discussions, didactics, live surgery sessions and dry laboratory workshops on the scope of the foot and ankle surgeries by national and international faculties. There will be case study discussions to throw light on particular treatment methods. The sessions will also explore the related fields of radiology, interpretation, diagnosis and current management trends of foot and ankle injuries, including fractures, ligament injuries and diabetic foot.

How many medicos are participating in the summit?
More than 350 doctors and postgraduate students are a part of the summit. There are specific panels for specific specialities in the summit.
