Chennai

I was born and brought up in Perungalathur. I am a post-graduate and, now, running a hire purchase shop which supplies items such as chairs, tents, speaker systems, lightings, etc. for functions. I had failed the Class 10 examination. But I did not give up. I studied harder, passed the exam and went on to score 85 per cent in Class 12. I did my degree and post-graduation from a reputed college in Chennai. After that, I took over my father’s business, which he has been running for 30 years.

I started the business in 2009 to take away some burden off my father’s shoulder and ensure that he got some rest. The business improved slowly. I work hard to ensure that I execute the task assigned to me as perfectly as possible and make my customers happy. I offer my services at competitive rates.

The reason why I didn’t take up a job related to my education is that working for someone else or sitting in front of a computer might not satisfy me. I like physical labour. I sometimes go along with my workers to set up tents and lights and I do all works by myself and see to it that everything is perfect. I have two brothers. One of them is working in a private firm and the other is studying. I am satisfied with my work and would like to also develop it.
