On Sunday’s Bigg Boss, actor-director Cheran who is one of the participants, was asked to impersonate Rajinikanth and pose questions to Kamal.

Using the opportunity, Cheran posed as Rajini and asked Kamal if the latter would join hands with him in politics to fulfil the wish of the people just as they had come together in cinema, much to their fans excitement.

In his response, Kamal said: “It is possible if we want to. My response is the same to this Rajini (Cheran) as well as the other Rajini.”

Makkal Needhi Maiyam spokesperson Murali Abbas shared this conversation in his Facebook post on Monday which went viral and once again triggered speculation about whether the two Kollywood giants would work as allies and carve a new political future for the state.

The post, however, also attracted some scepticism from social media users who questioned if the conversation was merely a script designed to give voice to political wishes of certain leaders.
