Chennai
My family, originally from Coimbatore, shifted to New Perungalathur in Chennai in 2001. Since childhood, I had an interest in cooking and used to try out different recipes. After completing school, I decided to pursue a course in hotel management. After my family came to know about my interest, they gladly agreed to support me. During my studies, I used to try different types of food on my own and with friends. After I finished the course in 2017, I joined a hotel in the city. It has been two years since I started to work there. I like my job. However, my aim is to start a restaurant in Chennai. I have made plans for that and have also started to save money to achieve this. I have a younger sister who is currently studying. My mother owns a fancy store and my father is working as an accountant with a private firm in Chennai. From my earning, I am support my family. Whenever I get time, I browse the internet to explore new dishes. This is the kind of the job which I will never get bored of. We all love experimenting with different foods, and eating something that we ourselves cooked will never leave us dejected. I would recommend people who want to choose a different career to try their hands cooking. Surely they will not be disappointed.
