I did a course in visual communication but could not get a suitable job for about a year. Even though I tried my hand at various jobs, nothing clicked. I have always been interested in music and learned how to play a piano on my own by watching videos from YouTube and with some help from friends. Later, I got an opportunity to intern with music director Arrol Corelli. He gave me a chance to work with him on a movie Igloo.
Everybody thinks that I got a chance entry into this field and that I had it easy, but only people in the field know about the fierce competition here. Being a junior, it is hard to get an opportunity to work in a movie. I have to struggle a lot to get one chance to work in a movie. And one of my major drawbacks is that I am not a professional pianist. I have to learn through my experience in this field. Even after having worked in a movie, there is not recognition from the public.
Recently, I signed in a couple of movies but later they were cancelled due to some financial problems. The cancellations did not affect me too much because I know that these things are common in the industry, and I have to keep my hopes up. Earlier, my family was not supportive, but after they observed how hard I work to get better, they began to understand me better and supported me. They are hopeful that I will make it big in the future.
